At the end of each grading period our teachers give out awards during an awards assembly.\u00a0 They consist of First Honors and Second Honors which reflect the students grade card achievements.\u00a0 In addition, a Special Effort Award is sometimes given, at the discretion of the teacher, to acknowledge a child who has put forth significate effort in their school work.\u00a0 The Honors requirements are as follows.<\/p>\n
