Every two years, students in the fifth and sixth grade are privileged to participate in the Faith and Science Camp located in the Centerburg area. Money raised from yearly fundraisers offset the costs of this learning experience.
Environmental Education from a Catholic Perspective
Students learn that they can come to know God through the exploration of the natural world in a program permeated by the message of the Gospel. The holistic curriculum of a Faith and Science retreat immerses students in the beauty of the natural world and invites them to encounter its Creator. Hands-on lessons make learning standards come alive, and young people are invited deeper into relationship with God. They’ll also meet learning standards with hands-on lessons utilizing 471 acres of forest, fields and ponds.
